No Fire, No Glory
On the quest to find more great coffee shops in Berlin it was J’s turn to come across the newest one, which is also pretty much in our neighborhood. It just opened this July, so it’s no wonder we haven’t come across it earlier.
It goes by the fancy name “No Fire, No Glory”, has a nice interior, and a giant cash register sitting right in the middle of the shop. They have the usual line of espresso beverages, you can get a french press too, if you’re into that, and seriously, a good french pressed coffee is quite nice from time to time. There’s one thing different about this shop though, they have pies. Not as sweet pies but savory ones, the ones I learned to love in Australia. Throw in one of their nice apple or plum tarts, and you’re in heaven.
Currently in their grinder is Square Mile Coffee from London, and it’s a really nice one. The taste comes out pretty nice in the flat white, but next time I’ll have to grab a ristretto to get the full treatment.

In all, highly recommended. In a landslide, “No Fire, No Glory” made it on my list of good coffee shops in Berlin.
